On Thursday, March 11, staff and students at the Delta School District are holding Roc Your Mocs, an event to celebrate cultural diversity and identity through traditional footwear.
The original ‘Rock Your Mocs’ event takes place annually in November. The campaign started in 2011 in the U.S. in support of National Native American Heritage Month and provides a positive opportunity for Indigenous people to unite and celebrate tribal individuality by wearing moccasins…. Delta School District is pleased to accept applications from families and students residing within and outside of the Delta School District. We offer a wide range of learning programs for all students.
